Arte Libera per Pangea

Starting from October 11, 2021 History Life Onlus officially launched the “Arte Libera per Pangea” campaign, organized in order to support the Pangea Foundation Onlus “Emergenza Afghanistan” project and created with the collaboration of great artists such as Milo Manara, Paolo Bacilieri, Tanino Liberatore, Maria Nives Manara, Giorgio Cavazzano and Matteo Bussola who, with great generosity, have made available various precious and unique goods that will be part of the organized charity auction campaign.

“Emergenza Afghanistan” Project
Fondazione Pangea Onlus has been operating in Kabul since 2003 and what it has in Afghanistan is not a project, it is family. Pangea cares about all the girls in the staff and knows one by one all the beneficiaries of microcredit and their children.
In these eighteen years, Pangea has involved more than 7,000 women in programs in Afghanistan. Women who have become aware of their rights and have achieved social and economic emancipation. Pangea’s programs have reached and involved more than 7,000 families and over 60,000 girls and boys. Since August 2021, the situation in Afghanistan has changed: the Taliban have assumed power and there is strong economic and social instability in the country.
As it threatens their positions and beliefs, Pangea’s project in Kabul is of interference to the Taliban, as it is seen as a health project that is not useful to them but is in fact vital for the women and children of Kabul.

A partire dal 11 ottobre 2021 History Life Onlus ha dato ufficialmente avvio alla campagna “Arte Libera per Pangea”, organizzata al fine di sostenere il progetto della Fondazione Pangea Onlus “Emergenza Afghanistan” e realizzata con la collaborazione di grandi artisti come Milo Manara, Paolo Bacilieri, Tanino Liberatore, Maria Nives Manara, Giorgio Cavazzano e Matteo Bussola i quali, con grande generosità, hanno messo a disposizione diversi beni preziosi e unici che faranno parte della campagna di aste di beneficenza organizzata.

Progetto “Emergenza Afghanistan”
Fondazione Pangea Onlus opera a Kabul dal 2003 e ciò che ha in Afghanistan non è un progetto, è famiglia. Pangea ha a cuore tutte le ragazze dello staff e conosce una per una tutte le beneficiarie del microcredito e i loro bambini.
In questi diciotto anni, Pangea ha coinvolto più di 7.000 donne nei programmi in Afghanistan. Donne che sono diventate consapevoli dei propri diritti e hanno raggiunto un’emancipazione sociale ed economica. I programmi di Pangea hanno raggiunto e coinvolto più di 7.000 famiglie e oltre 60.000 bambine e bambini. Dall’agosto 2021 la situazione in Afghanistan è cambiata: i talebani hanno assunto il potere e nel paese regna forte instabilità economica e sociale.
Poiché minaccia le loro posizioni e credenze, il progetto di Pangea a Kabul è fastidioso per i talebani, in quanto visto come un progetto sanitario non utile a loro ma che in realtà è di vitale importanza per le donne e i bambini di Kabul.
