History Life Onlus supports Amref
adminOn the occasion of the beginning of Christmas season, we are proud to announce that for the fourth year in a row History Life supports Amref’s project “Women in School for Health” (WISH) in order to allow the training of young girls from Sud Sudan through a professionalizing path with which relaunch the local human capital. The funds have been raised to finance the “Women in School for Health” High School with which the girls can be started to the medical profession giving them the possibility to lead their country to a better future. Amref Health Africa (formerly the African Medical and Research Foundation – AMREF) was founded in 1957 by three surgeons as the Flying Doctors of East Africa and is known nowadays as the largest African-led international organization on the continent.
