Pope Francis supports History Life for the third year

For the third consecutive year, His Holiness Pope Francis has decided to support our association through the donation of a skullcap worn by the pontiff. The precious gift arrived at our headquarters a few days after the Pope’s visit to L’Aquila on the occasion of the 728th Celestinian Forgiveness. The headdress is accompanied by a certificate drawn up by the Pope’s secretary in which the provenance of the object is certified. The donation is aimed at the renewal of charity projects for the two-year period 2022-2024 including scholarships for the training project “Workshop Comprendere per non Disperdere” created in favor of school students throughout Italy to counter early school leaving and the renewal of support for the community “Capanna di Betlemme di Chieti – Papa Giovanni XXIII”.
With honor and profound esteem we thank the Pontiff and his secretariat for allowing us to carry out many new charity projects this year too.
Per il terzo anno consecutivo Sua Santità Papa Francesco ha deciso di sostenere la nostra associazione attraverso la donazione di uno zucchetto indossato dal pontefice. Il prezioso dono è arrivato nella nostra sede pochi giorni dopo la visita del Papa all’Aquila in occasione della 728° Perdonanza Celestiniana. Il copricapo è accompagnato da un certificato redatto dal segretario del Papa in cui è attestata la provenienza dell’oggetto. La donazione è finalizzata al rinnovo dei progetti di beneficenza per il biennio 2022-2024 comprensivi di borse di studio per il progetto formativo “Workshop Comprendere per non Disperdere” realizzato a favore degli studenti delle scuole di tutta Italia per contrastare l’abbandono scolastico e il rinnovo del sostegno alla comunità “Capanna di Betlemme di Chieti – Papa Giovanni XXIII”.
